Day 01 : Bali - Labuan Bajo - Rinca
Island
Pick up service from your hotel in Bali
and transfer to the airport. Depart from
Bali by domestic flight for Labuan Bajo
in West Part of Flores island. Upon your
arrival you will be welcomed and met by
our local representative. Transfer to
the harbor to catch a boat cross to
Rinca island. Lunch will be provided. We
arrive at Rinca after boating about 2
hours proceeding with hiking to see the
activities of komodo dragon for the
whole afternoon. All meals provided and
accommodation on board.
Day 02 : Komodo - Rinca - Pink Beach
- Ruteng
We are slowly moving from Rinca to
Komodo island, while enjoying sunrise
and breakfast on board, again we begin
our trek and hike through the tropical
dry forest to explore the Komodo dragon
at Komodo island. While entering the
park, please keep your look at any
directions as sometimes you will also
find young komodo dragon hanging over
the trees. A local ranger will lead you
during the trek. We return on board for
relax and lunch before proceed to Pink
Beach for a beautiful beach, spectacular
snorkel site. In the afternoon return to
Labuan Bajo. On your arrival, proceed
driving to Ruteng in the afternoon. We
arrive in Ruteng in the early evening.
Stay overnight at Dahlia Inn or Wisma
Susteran.
Day 03 : Ruteng - Bajawa
Early morning, we enjoy surroundings of
Ruteng town with most cool atmosphere on
the island. We walk through the small
city and return at hotel in time for
breakfast. Afterward, depart to Bajawa,
stop in Manoo to see superb rice
terraces in the valley, take short walks
in Ranamese under a huge tropical
rainforest and see the crater lake.
Lunch box provided. Stop in Mborong for
coffee refreshment, in Kisol to
scrutinized the vanilla plantation, see
"arak" distillation and fresh palm juice
tapping in Airmere. Arrive in Bajawa,
dinner at Camelia Restaurant and night
at Bintang Wisata or Silverin Hotel or
any similar hotel
Day 04 : Bajawa - Bena - Riung
After breakfast, excursion to Bena
passing through huge and gigantic bamboo
plantation, picture Inerie volcano and
take short walks in the vicinity. Arrive
in Bena, see traditional houses and
megalithic tombs, learn the meaning of
Ngadhu and Bhaga symbolizing male and
female of ancestral spirit. Back to
Bajawa, lunch. Drive to Soa, swim in a
warm water springs and relaxation and
enjoying coffee refreshment at the
resort near by. Proceed to Riung. Dinner
and overnight at Pondok SVD.
Day 05 : Riung
After breakfast, sail to Pulau Tujuh
Belas "nature preservation". Enjoy
snorkel in enormous "aquarium" siesta on
white sandy beach of Pulau Rutong, take
short walks circling the island. Picnic
lunch at Rutong beach. Sail to Pulau
Kalong, see myrids of bat colony
hanging over mangroves trees. Late
afternoon return to Riung mainland.
Dinner and overnight at Pondok SVD.
Day 06 : Riung - Detusoko
After breakfast, depart from Riung to
Moni diving through Mbay and Aegela (the
irigation area of Flores island), Stop
in Nangapanda to see local collecting
blue stone from beach for export items
from Flores. Then drive onward to Ende.
Lunch served at local restaurant of Ende,
enjoy a spectacular view of this tiny
city among the three semi volcanoes.
Late afternoon arrive in Detusoko and
stay overnight at Wisma St. Fransiskus
Saverius (missionary house)..
Day 07 : Moni - Kelimutu - Maumere
Early morning drive up to the three
colored lake of Kelimutu, one of the
Indonesia's most mysterious and dramatic
sights. The three lakes, set in deep
craters at a height of 1,600m.Down to
Moni for breakfast, then continue to
Maumere with stop at Lio hill tribes of
Jopu and Ranggase, offers fine Ikat
weaving, then the village of Wolowaru.
Lunch is provided. Dinner and
accommodation at Sea World Club or
Pelita Hotel
Day 08 : Maumere - Sumba Island
Breakfast at hotel. Fly to Waingapu
airport of East Sumba.
Upon arrival meeting service and
transfer to Hotel for lunch. Afternoon
visit the traditional village of
Prailiang. It is a beautiful ride
through the savannah of the north coast
of Sumba. There are buffaloes, cows and
horses roaming the field. The village is
situated on the hilltop over viewing the
valley of Mondu half cut by a river.
Short walk to the village is a must.
There are ten traditional houses but
only six of them permanently occupied.
Afternoon return to Hotel
Day 09 : Ikat Weaving Excursion
In the morning visit the market of
Waingapu and Lambanapu area to see the
Ikat Weaving and then proceed eastwards
towards Pau and Rende two of the many
villages well-known for their beautiful
Ikats. En route stop at place where Sabu
People produce Palm Sugar out of Palm
Wine (during dry season only\: April to
October). Picnic lunch at one of the
beach in the area. Afternoon visit Pau
and Rende - the two Royal villages
furnished with huge carved stone tombs
and traditional houses. They are also
known as the center of Ikat Weaving of
Sumba.
Day 10 : Waingapu - Waikabubak
In the morning drive drive to Waikabubak
en route stop at Anakalang to see the
huge and carved stone tombs. Afternoon
visit the traditional villages around
the town, such as Tarung, Waitabar and
Paletilulu.tc "Historically Sumba is
known as the source of the beautiful
horses for inter insular trading. Up to
present times the island still producing
fine horses for the same purpose. There
is chance to visit one of the horse
breeding en route to Waikabubak. Before
check in stop at Anakalang to see the
huge and carved stone tombs. Lunch at
the hotel in waikabubak. Afternoon visit
the traditional villages around the
town, such as Tarung, Waitabar and
Paletilulu
Day 11 : Waikabubak - Kodi -
Waikabubak
Visit the market (Sumba weekly market,
West Sumba: Wednesday and East Sumba on
Saturday). After visiting market drive
to Kodi - the area is known for the tall
traditional houses and probably the
tallest on the island. There are
plantations of coffee, cashew nut,
banana, and coconut and teak wood forest
en route. Arrival Kodi area visit some
villages such as: Ratengaro and Parona
Baroro. Picnic lunch at Tossi beach.
Afternoon visit Bondo Kawangu and if
possible meet the Pasola Priest in Tossi
village. "Visit the market (Sumba weekly
market, West Sumba\: Wednesday and East
Sumba on Saturday).
After visiting market drive to Kodi -
the area is known for the tall
traditional houses and probably the
tallest on the island. There are
plantations of coffee, cashew nut,
banana, coconut and teak wood forest en
route. Arrival Kodi area visit some
villages such as\: Ratengaro and Parona
Baroro. Picnic lunch at Tossi beach.

Day 12 : Waikabubak - Tambolaka - Denpasar
Early breakfast, transfer to the airport
for your return flight to Denpasar,
Bali. Arrive in Denpasar, transfer to
your hotel. |
